Participants will have the opportunity to work alongside healthcare professionals in hospitals and clinics in northern Tanzania. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, students will gain practical skills, participating in preforming medical procedures and contribute to patient care in a real-world setting. This will begin with students selecting the hospital of their choices from the pool of available hospital in northern Tanzania, later they will have to choose department of their preferences based on their objectives. Each student will be attached to the local medical practitioner who will be responsible to make sure that each medical student meets their objectives. This local practitioner will also be responsible in approving all the paper works that the students will need to submit to their institutions at the end of the program.
